The eighth Biennial Meeting of the Working Group on the Asian Highway was convened in accordance with Article 7(2) of the Intergovernmental Agreement on the Asian Highway Network at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok on 18 - 19 September 2019.

The Working Group considered the implementation of the Agreement and any amendments proposed by the Parties. The Working Group also served to advance discussions and information exchange on the operationalization of the Asian Highway Network.
