Project on Implementing Inequality Assessments and Strengthening Demographic Analysis Capacity aims to increase the ability of Fijian government officials to implement the inequality assessment for civil registration and vital statistics system by using secondary sources and indirect demographic methods and to increase their awareness of the hard-to-reach and marginalised populations, including women and girls who are not registered and how to address this under-registration.

The Fiji Bureau of Statistics has expressed interest to participate in the project and take lead at the national level to implement CRVS inequality assessments using secondary data in Fiji.
