This report presents the results of the third UN Global Survey on Digital and Sustainable Trade Facilitation, jointly conducted by five United Nations Regional Commissions for Africa (ECA), Europe (ECE), Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) and West Asia (ESCWA).

The survey covers 128 economies from 8 regions, with a key focus on four main areas: “General Trade Facilitation” in relation to the implementation of selected measures under the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA); “Digital Trade Facilitation” regarding the implementation of innovative, technology-driven measures aimed at enabling the use and exchange of electronic trade data and documents; “Sustainable Trade Facilitation” with regards to trade facilitation for SMEs, agricultural sector and women; and “Trade Finance”

The results of the survey enable countries and development partners to better understand and monitor progress on trade facilitation, support evidence-based public policies, share best practices and identify capacity building and technical assistance needs.
