The purpose of the workshop is to build capacity of public and private sector stakeholders in the Asia-Pacific region on food and agriculture quality standards, control systems and export requirements, particularly for fresh horticulture products and for mango and pineapple. The workshop will also provide training on business process analysis tools that may be used to streamline control procedures and facilitate cross-border trade. Participants will also be introduced to paperless systems for agricultural trade facilitation.
