The Workshop on communicating gender data: promoting better use and delivering impactful messageswas co-organized by UN Women’s Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific and ESCAP Statistics Division. The aim of the workshop was to promote better use of gender data to inform policy making, enhance accountability and track progress towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. More specifically, the workshop covered topics such as data visualization techniques, media messaging, statistical literacy, advocating with gender data and building effective communication strategies with data.
