The Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) in collaboration with the Foreign Trade University, Viet Nam is organizing the capacity building workshop on preferential trade agreements, from 15 to 17 March 2017, Hanoi, Viet Nam.

The purpose of the workshop is to increase the awareness of government officials and trade negotiators of the potential social and economic impacts of preferential trade agreements and how they can be managed through ex-ante and ex-post adjustments, thereby enhancing the understanding of participants of how liberalization through preferential trade agreements can lead to more inclusive and equitable trade.
