This workshop brought together over 40 participants from South and South-East Asian countries to present trade facilitation policies and measures in the agro-food sector. The purpose was to build the capacity of government and private stakeholders and to promote inter- and intra-regional learning amongst participating countries on policies and initiatives that facilitate the trade of agriculture or food products.
The workshop took place at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC) on 26 September 2014. It was a side-event of the Asia-Pacific Trade Facilitation Forum (APTFF) 2014.
