Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) in collaboration with WTO and Government of People’s Republic of China are organizing a policy dialogue for officials of the Government of Afghanistan on post-WTO accession implementation strategy from 11 to 15 July 2016 at the United Nations Conference Centre, Bangkok, Thailand.
The basic objective of this capacity building is to enhance skill-set and knowledge of the relevant Government officials so that they can successfully implement the commitments made by Afghanistan regarding its membership in the WTO. One of the important segments of this programme is to allow sharing of the experiences of countries which recently acceded to WTO.
