ESCAP Pacific office, together with CROP Agencies and UNDP, are jointly organising the Pacific Multi-Stakeholder Dialogue on the 2030 Agenda/SAMOA Pathway/Framework for Pacific Regionalism, from 14-16 June 2017 in Suva, Fiji. The Multi-Stakeholder Dialogue will bring together representatives of governments, civil society, private sector, development partner and regional agencies stakeholders to:

i) consider the Pacific Leaders decisions on Sustainable Development and assist the Pacific SDG Task Force to finalise for Pacific Leaders consideration in September 2017 the Draft Pacific SDGs Roadmap. The Roadmap is intended to guide regional responses to achieving the SDGs within the context of national plans, the SAMOA Pathwayand the Framework for Pacific Regionalism; and
ii) increase awareness and ownership of the sustainable development agenda and Pacific SDGs Roadmap to enable implementation.

ESCAP Pacific Office and UNWomen will also fund representatives from Finance and Women’s ministries to attend a gender based budgeting workshop in Suva on 12-13 June, prior to the Dialogue.
