First Meeting of Legal and Technical Working Groups of the Interim Intergovernmental Steering Group on Cross-Border Paperless Trade Facilitation

The Interim Intergovernmental Steering Group on Cross-Border Paperless Trade Facilitation, at its first meeting held on 1-3 April 2015, decided to create the Legal and Technical Working Groups to carry out the tasks of further improving the draft text of the regional arrangement and preparing a draft road map for the implementation of substantive provisions in the draft text. The working groups also perform any other tasks directed by the Steering Group. The working groups, at their first physical meeting to be held on 9-11 September 2015, will conduct the mandated tasks with the support of the United Nations Network of Experts for Paperless Trade and Transport in Asia and the Pacific (UNNExT).
