Expert Group Meeting on Developing Datasets and Indicators to Monitor the Performance of Preferential Trade Agreements and their Impact on Inclusive Trade and other Aspects of Sustainable Development

The Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) is organizing the expert group meeting on developing datasets and indicators to monitor preferential trade agreements with respect to inclusive trade and sustainable development on 20 June 2017, Bangkok, Thailand.

The purpose of the expert group meeting is to discuss how to develop datasets and indicators to assist developing countries in assessing the impact of preferential trade agreements on inclusive trade and other issues related to sustainable development. The development of these datasets and indicators will be in support of the wider effort to help pilot countries in the project better understand how preferential trade agreements can lead to more inclusive outcomes.
