ESCAP has been in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation (MoEWRI), the Government of Nepal in organizing consultation workshops to apply the NEXSTEP tool as well as to provide recommendations and guidance on developing the SDG7 roadmap for Nepal.
Objectives of the launching event for SDG 7 roadmap for Nepal
ESCAP and the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation is organizing a launching event for the SDG 7 roadmap for Nepal. The main objectives of this launching event are as follows:
- Officially launch the SDG 7 roadmap for Nepal.
- Disseminate the key results and policy recommendations to responsible representatives from various agencies such as government bodies, private sectors, and academic and research institutions; and
- Encourage partnerships and collaborations to support the implementation of the SDG 7 roadmap.
