The Asia-Pacific Stats Café Series on "Big Data Governance" was held on Monday, 16 August 2021, 12:00-13:30 hours (GMT+7).
This Stats Café explored governance issues related to the use of big data for official statistics, including privacy, ethics, legislation and coordination, and how the role of the NSOs in government-wide digital strategies, national data infrastructure and data sharing can be leveraged for expanded uptake of big data in statistical operations.
