The SSWA Development Monitor is an electronic newsletter, launched in early 2012 by the ESCAP South and South-West Asia office and which provides an overview of the work and activities undertaken by ESCAP-SSWA, as well as conferences and knowledge products of relevance to the subregion. The newsletter also provides a compilation of news and articles on themes covered by the ESCAP-SSWA work programme.

This particular issue of the Monitor focuses on the seventy-first session of the ESCAP Commission that was held from 25 to 29 May 2015 at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok, highlighting developments of particular interest for the South and South-West Asian subregion.
