Ms. Fathimath Thasneem is the Deputy Minister of National Disaster Management Centre of Maldives. She chaired the 3rd session of the Committee on Disaster Risk Reduction on 27-28 November 2013 and had participated in the Expert Group Meeting on Strategies towards Building Resilience to Disasters in Asia and the Pacific, a side-event, on 26-28 November 2013.
