Module 1: Opening session
1.1 Workshop overview and objectives presented by Mr Alick Mjuma Nyasulu, Lecturer/Statistician, Statistics Institute for Asia and Pacific (SIAP).

1.2 Regional Programme on Economic Statistics presented by Ms Zeynep Orhun Girard, ESCAP Statistics Division.

Module 2: Specific changes in the SNA 2008

2.1 Session 1: Overview of Changes in SNA 2008 - Expert presentation and discussion: The session presents the SNA 2008 as an integrated system for economic statistics. The main learning objective is to explain the changes between the SNA 1993 and SNA 2008. The presentation was given by Andrej Mikus, ESCAP (available in Russian only)

2.2 Session 4: SNA 2008 Changes Impact on GDP
This session discusses specific impacts on GDP data if the SNA 2008 is fully adopted. It draws on changes presented in session 1. The presentation was given by Alick Mjuma Nyasulu, SIAP

2.3. Session 5: Research and development expenditures—estimation methods. The presentation discusses specific changes in the SNA 2008 regarding the treatment of research and development.
