By invitation only

ADB and UNESCAP have been assisting Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal to establish sustainable trade and transport facilitation monitoring mechanisms (TTFMM) for the past several years. The ultimate goal of TTFMM is to enable a country to more effectively monitor trade and transport facilitation. At the same time, the coordinated and harmonized implementation of the mechanisms is expected to enhance trade facilitation among South Asian Subregional Economic Cooperation (SASEC countries) and to facilitate the effective implementation of the recently agreed Bangladesh, Bhutan, India and Nepal (BBIN) Motor Vehicle Agreement. In this context, the focus of the workshop is to discuss and finalize all technical details on the TTFMM baseline studies to ensure effective implementation.
