Second Meeting of the Working Group on Increasing Economic and Technical Cooperation to Address Shared Vulnerabilities and Risks

Resolution 70/1 on the Implementation of the Bangkok Declaration on Regional Economic Cooperation and Integration in Asia and the Pacific requested ESCAP to assist members and associate members in setting up and supporting the activities of expert working groups in four areas: (1) moving towards the formation of an integrated market, (2) the development of seamless connectivity across the region, (3) enhancing financial cooperation and (4) increasing economic and technical cooperation to address shared vulnerabilities and risks.

The Second Meeting of the Working Group on Increasing Economic and Technical Cooperation to Address Shared Vulnerabilities and Risks will be organized by ESCAP from 26 to 27 March 2015 in Bangkok at the United Nations Conference Centre. It is organized as follow-up to the first meeting of the Working Group held on 10-11 December 2014. The meeting will discuss the draft report which will be prepared as background material for the preparatory meetings towards the Second Ministerial Conference on Regional Economic Cooperation and Integration in Asia and the Pacific in 2015.
