The regional workshop, jointly organised by the Enhanced Integrated Framework (EIF) and ESCAP aims at bringing EIF trade Focal Points, NIU officials, EIF Donor Facilitators in Asian LDCs together with other partners to work out concrete action points on how the EIF can best support LDCs to develop trade in the changing global landscape, address effectively cross-cutting themes, ensure value for money and ultimately contribute to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals. It also focusses on enhancing sustainability, leveraging of resources, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) for efficient delivery and greater impacts.
Sessions will also cover subjects related value chains, regional integration, linkages of trade to poverty reduction, gender balancing and environmental sustainability as well as challenges of current global and regional trade and investment landscape.
