The world’s most aged country and the world’s fastest ageing country are both in East and North-East Asia

According to the 2010 data, Japan is the world’s most aged country, and the speed of population ageing in the Republic of Korea is the fastest in the world. It is projected that by 2060, the Republic of Korea will be the most aged country in the world.
