Through a phone-like device, older persons have 24-hour access to support and care service, community service, referral service, caring and appointment reminder service and short-term emotional counselling service. It is designed for indoor use as it requires a fixed telephone connection. Older persons can use this service by paying a monthly fee. Financially difficult users may apply for a charity subsidy
