Information Officers from ESCAP Information Services are available to assist journalists in their coverage of United Nations activities. During normal working hours, between 8.00 AM and 4.00 PM, Mondays through Fridays, correspondents' requests can be attended to our staff. There are also answering services available, so please kindly leave a message if you call after office hours and we will get back to you. Radio and television services

The UNCC has special booths overlooking its two major conference halls (Conference Room 1 and 2) for radio journalists to observe and record the proceedings. Television camera crews will be provided with convenient locations in the conference halls to facilitate high quality coverage. Television crews, in particular, are advised to arrive early for any event they wish to cover in order to ensure smooth security clearance of their equipment prior to entry into the United Nations premises. Informing UN ESCAP Information Services staff well in advance will also help in speeding up security and other clearances.
