Introduction

ESCAP Publications , is a listing of publications produced by various divisions of ESCAP.

This list includes all publications, both sales and free, and both recurrent and non-recurrent titles, that were produced by various divisions of ESCAP. The type of publications covered includes: journals, monographs in a series, research reports, meeting reports/proceedings, bibliographies, directories and manuals.

For periodicals, periodicity information comes with information on the beginning year of the publication (e.g. Monthly since 1989). In addition to title and annotation, a bibliographic description contains the following information:

produced by: name of the author division within ESCAP
distributed by: organization responsible for distribution of the publication if it is different from the author division
ISSN: International Standard Series Number
ISBN: International Standard Book Number
document number: document number assigned by ESCAP (e.g. ST/ESCAP/1785)
sales number: sales number assigned to sales publications (e.g. E.97.II.F.15)

Price information is shown for each issue for periodicals and shown along with the document number or the sales number for other types of publications. Three types of pricing schemes have been applied: free (free publications); postage and handling (postage and handling charge only); and priced (actual price quoted in US Dollars).
