The newsletter provides a news update, articles and viewpoints on matters related to government computerization, and information on the activities of the ESCAP Secretariat and the relevant decisions of the Committee on Statistics and the Commission in the field of public sector computerization and information technology. The focus is on the management of the computerization process rather than on the technology itself. The latest issue (June 1997) is "Internet Special Issue".

Computerization Development in the Public Sector: Proceedings of an Expert Group Meeting, Bangkok, 12-15 December 1995, 1995, 224 pages
Presents a review of the ESCAP-organized meeting, attended by senior level experts from nine countries, who shared national experiences and made recommendations on how the ESCAP secretariat could assist in promoting computerization in the public sector. The volume combines the proceedings of that meeting, including the final report, country studies prepared by the experts and some of the technical papers in their original format.
