There are four areas which need to be stressed in regard to investment promotion between these two areas: commercial diplomacy, productive integration, cooperation for development and communication and culture. It can be affirmed that the dialogue between Latin America and the Asia Pacific has not yet begun, even though there is an official proposal in this direction and some scarce but important national experiences.
