Eye on UNESCAP
The United Nations Economic and Social Commission
for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) has released a compilation
issue of all media coverage related to the work of the organization
during the year 2002.
The publication, called Eye on UNESCAP, follows
the increasing involvement of UNESCAP in all aspects of development
such as economic, social, environment, education and health
issues of the region. The media coverage reflects the continuing
goal of the organization in reducing poverty and promoting economic
equality within the Asia Pacific region.
Eye on UNESCAP includes the reporting of both
the local and international media chronicling the progress made
by ESCAP under the leadership of Executive Secretary Mr. Kim
Hak-Su. It also makes an interesting reference document on the
events of the year 2002.
There are only a limited number of copies remaining,
