Objectives
Active discussion and sharing of ideas on how
young people can contribute to United Nations issues.
UN issues include the Millennium Development Goals
and the four key areas highlighted by the In Larger
Freedom report Young people will be encouraged to
actively participate and come up with concrete ideas
on how to contribute to a better world in their
communities. Young people will better understand
issues involved and the significance of their contribution
to helping end poverty.
Participants
Young people aged 15-25 from the Asia-Pacific
region; United Nations, government civil society
organization, NGO and academic representatives to
facilitate discussion and workshop ideas.
