Facilities & Services

The UNCC, under the general management of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) is run by a professional and experienced convention team which presently provides a wide range of conference services for numerous United Nations meetings.

The services provided cover assistance with pre-conference planning; administrative and logistic arrangement, including delegation registration and identification; physical set-up of meeting rooms; control and operation of audio-visual equipment; word-processing; editing; reproduction and distribution of conference and meeting documents and proceedings; provision of interpreters, translators and revisers in Chinese, English, French and Russian languages; on-going support services for meetings in progress; and arrangements for related social functions, cocktail receptions.

Other facilities include: facilities for the disabled; acoustic partition walls; multilanguage simultaneous interpretation; post-office; banking services; travel agent; first aid; covered parking with up to 500 spaces. UNCC also provides a wide variety of food prepared in the UNCC's extensive kitchens which are equipped to handle western, oriental and Muslim cooking styles and a delegates dining room on Level one.
