| Turkey is the western extremity of the southern
corridor of the Trans-Asian Railway. The straights of Bosphorus
(at the northern end of the Sea of Marmara) and of Dardenelles (at
the Southern end point) provide the dividing line between
the European and Asian portions of Turkey.
There are five number of TAR routes in Turkey.
