Working Group on the Asian Highway

Fourth Meeting, 27-28 September 2011, UNCC, Bangkok
 
The Intergovernmental Agreement on the Asian Highway Network entered into force on 4 July 2005. Currently there are 29 signatories and 28 Parties to the Agreement. In accordance with the terms of the Agreement, a Working Group on the Asian Highway is established. The Fourth Meeting of the Working Group was considered the implementation of the Agreement and any amendments proposed. The Working Group was also a forum for member States to discuss progress in development policies and issues relating to international road transport.
