Objective
This workshop aims to provide participants with enhanced awareness of the concepts, principles and obligations of the WTO Agreement on Government Procurement, the modalities of accession to the Agreement including the review of the flexibility available to developing countries. The workshop will also provide a forum for a discussion on the role the Agreement in preventing abuse of stimulus packages in the current recovery programmes.
