UNESCAP is developing a web-based database
on technical assistance projects in the Greater Mekong Subregion
(GMS). In this connection, UNESCAP
- Aims at facilitating information flows on ongoing technical assistance projects in the GMS
- Helps to reduce duplication of technical assistance activities
- Contributes to a more efficient provision of technical assistance
- Responds to the strong interest expressed by country representatives expressed at UNESCAP meetings
The database
- Gives a brief overview of activities under each project and provides further links*
- Contains currently ongoing projects undertaken or financed by several multilateral institutions
- In the future, it will include bilateral technical assistance activities as well as completed activities
- Is still in a testing stage
