The Trade Facilitation Toolkit and Forms Repository assist Governments and business to simplify their documentary requirements and develop consistent national series of trade documents. The Toolkit and Repository support the requirements for simplification of documents in the implementation of international trade facilitation instruments, such those of the World Customs Organization (e.g. revised Kyoto Convention), and support the implementation of GATT Articles V, VIII and X.

The Toolkit and Repository was jointly developed by UNECE and ESCAP under the UN Development Account 4 th Tranche project.

• Trade Facilitation Toolkit assists trade facilitators in developing national series of trade forms in paper of electronic format (PDF format) aligned to the standards and best practices of the United Nations and the International Organization for Standardization. The Toolkit employs Adobe LifeCycle for developing aligned forms, which may also be "write-enabled" allowing traders to complete the forms electronically and email or print them.
  
• Forms Repository is a website where countries can publish forms and legislation for import, export and transit. It provides countries with a one-stop access to national trade forms, which can be directly downloaded.
