Objective
|
The seminar is designed to assist government officials from Asia and the Pacific to consolidate their understanding of development-related issues in the WTO, with a specific focus on Aid for Trade, as well as provide a greater appreciation of the linkage between trade and development. It also aims to provide the participants with a greater awareness of the various factors that can enhance the developmental gains from trade. It will include development-related issues currently being treated in the WTO with an eye on the next WTO Ministerial Conference to be held in Bali, in December, 2013.
