Objective
|
To improve the understanding
of the linkages between trade policies and
the development of the telecommunications
sector in the Asia-Pacific region. The main
focus will be on the implicatrions of existing
WTO agreements and ongoing negotiations
under the Doha Development Agenda for the
regulation of the telecommunication sector.
The seminar also aims at facilitating the
dialogue between concerned authorities on
a regional level. |
