In the area of the Doha Development Agenda (DDA) we work to:
Offer training
programmes on WTO - agreements
and negotiations under the DDA
in particular through the joint
WTO/UNESCAP
flagship training programme
to build up a regional body of
expertise on WTO issues.
Enhance
the informal network of WTO acceding
countries, which provides a forum
for the sharing of experiences
in accession process and drawing-up
of best practice negotiations.
Support
more effective participation of
least developed countries and
land locked developing countries
in the global economy, through
WTO-consistent regional
trade and integration arrangements.
