Protocol on the Preferential Tariff Scheme (PRETAS) covers 7 per cent of the total tariff lines with tariffs above 10 per cent.
Tariff reduction under nomal track with tariffs above 25 per cent to be reduced to 25 per cent; between 15-25 per cent reduced to 15 per cent and 10-15 per cent reduced to 10 per cent.
Normal track implementation in 4 annual instalments for developing countries and 6 for the LDCs. Voluntary acceleration of traiff reduction recommended. |
