The Seminar was organized jointly by the Central Statistical Organisation of India and the Statistics Division of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), under the component entitled "Integrating Paid and Unpaid Work into National Policies" of the UNDP Regional Programme on Promoting  Gender Equality in the Asia-Pacific Region.
