I.  Public sector information technology sites
Last update: 3 May 2000

I.A. Government IT in Asia and the Pacific

Section I.A aims to cover all ESCAP's 56 regional members and associate* members.  However, for a number of countries, we have not yet been able to locate any web pages or sites related to national IT policy or the use of information technology in the public sector.  For the time being such countries/areas carry a link to a representative generic link collection, followed by  "(non-IT)".  Most of those generic links are included in the Asian Studies WWW Virtual Library, an effort coordinated by Dr T. Matthew Ciolek, Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies, Australian National University.
