The meeting was hosted by The Statistics Korea (KOSTAT) in Daejeon, Republic of Korea on 16-18 July 2012.

The main purpose of the meeting was for the WG-RCST to review and firm-up recommendations on the overall strategy for regional coordination of statistical training as well as map out specific mechanisms for implementing the proposed strategy, including relevant terms of references and to prepare a plan for a region-wide consultation on the recommendations of the Working Group and the finalization of the report to be submitted to the Committee.
