Questionnaire on Civil Society Perspectives concerning the Second Asian and Pacific Decade of Disabled Persons, 2003-2012

Who responds?

Organizations of persons with disabilities and other Civil Society groups in Asia and the Pacific are invited to join in responding to the questionnaire on progresses and challenges on the Second Asian and Pacific Decade of Disabled Persons, 2003-2012. Pursuant to Commission resolution 66/11 of 19 May 2010, all members, associate members and key stakeholders are called upon to actively contribute to the preparatory process leading up to the “High-level Intergovernmental Meeting on the Final Review of the Implementation of the Asian and Pacific Decade of Disabled Persons, 2003-2012,” which will be hosted by the Government of the Republic of Korea at Incheon in October 2012.

Why we value your response?

Questionnaire responses will be an important contribution to the preparatory process leading up to the above-mentioned High-level Intergovernmental Meeting.

The Meeting will set the strategic agenda for the next phase of disability-related policies and activities in Asia and the Pacific, reflecting the region’s changing social and economic conditions.

We value Civil Society’s perspective in this process.
