The South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) organized the South Asia Consultation on the Post- 2015 Development Agenda: Sustainable Development Goals and the Means of Implementation in Nagarkot, Nepal, on 26-28 August 2014.

Further to Commission resolution 69/13 of 1 May 2013 on implementation of the Ministerial Declaration on the Asian and Pacific Decade of Persons with Disabilities, 2013-2022, and the Incheon Strategy to “Make the Right Real” for Persons with Disabilities in Asia and the Pacific, the road map highlights overarching actions that need to be taken so as to set in motion the timely implementation of the Incheon Strategy to “Make the Right Real” for Persons with Disabilities in Asia and the Pacific.
