Regional Commemoration of the World Water Day has been organised as a side event to the fourth session of the Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development and launched the World Water Development Report 2017 on the theme of Wastewater: The Untapped Resource.
This is a presentation under Session 2 (Developing and implementing national indicator frameworks to drive national SDG implementation: Further reflections) of the Asia-Pacific Conference: Taking Collective Action to Accelerate Transformation of Official Statistics for Agenda 2030, Bangkok, 27–28 March 2017.

World Water Day, on 22 March every year, is calling for collective actions to tackle the water crisis, aiming to ensure safe and clean water access for everyone. World Water Day 2017 brings global attention to the utilization of wastewater and highlights its potential as a sustainable resource.
