| This publication focuses on trade and investment policy, trade efficiency and enterprise development in Asia and the Pacific. This issue discusses problems and prospects of globalization and analyzes economic integration and industrial production networking. A review of private enterprise development for export promotion in South Asia and ESCAP efforts to build national capacities to attract foreign direct investment in developing economies of Asia are presented. Workshop proceedings on business promotion and technology incubation to improve small and medium industries held in Bangladesh, Cambodia, the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Mongolia, Nepal and Viet Nam during 2002-2003 are included. |
