The High-level Meeting on Energy for Sustainable Development, held in Bali in November 2000, together with other events on energy and sustainable development in preparation for the World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD), have generated a wealth of information representing the status of policies and strategies on sustainable energy development across the ESCAP region.
