This publication aims at further understanding of the geology, tectonic setting, magmatism and metallogeny of the complex area of the Central Asia fold belt lying at the interaction zone of the Siberian and Chinese platforms through an overview of relevant geoscientific sections in Mongolia.
It includes an overview of Mongolia's general geology and tectonic setting, metallogenic development, mineraldeposits, status, mineral based industries and exports and regulatory government framework covering mineral policy and development.
