| This publication contains recommendations on harmonized aids for navigation systems on the Greater Mekong River. The recommendations were drawn up after extensive study and consultation with all stakeholders under a joint ESCAP and Mekong River Commission project to assist the six riparian countries, namely Cambodia, China, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Myanmar, Thailand and Viet Nam, formulate and implement harmonized aids to navigation system to ensure safe navigation for people, goods and the environment. |
