The publication reviews the interaction between development and population ageing, the promotion of multigenerational relationships in Asia and the Pacific and reviewing ongoing policies and programmes in the region in this regard.  The publication has three core parts.  The first is a study on the relationships between population ageing and development.  The second part is a study on issues relating to multigenerational relationships.  The last part is the report of the regional seminar on Promoting a Society for All Ages held in Bangkok from 1 to 4 December 1998.
