| This publication is the first supplement to the Regional Remote Sensing Inventory published by the ESCAP/UNDP Regional Remote Sensing Programme in May 1989. The publication contains updated information for most of those countries that presented reports in the original inventory, as well as reports from three more countries, namely, Mongolia, the Republic of Korea and Vanuatu.
This supplement is one of two publications (the other being a directory of the remote sensing education and training facilities/activities in the region).
Tis publication does not contain any information included in the original inventory of 1989.
