| In many developing countries, employment opportunities and income earning are directly associated with industrial efficiency. Pressing problems can be overcome by the effectiveness in exploiting technology in industry. In this paper, the conceptual foundations for the international transfer of technology are given in Chapter 1. Chapter 2 provides the emerging dimensions of the international technology process, while Chapter 3 includes the importance of technological and managerial capability for successful transfer of technology. Provisions and implications of TRIPs and TRIMs are discussed in Chapter 4; Chapter 5 presents conclusions and recommendations. |
